    • H1N1 Pandemic Update: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released a new report claiming that death rates from the 2009 H1N1 pandemic were 15 times higher than the original World Health Organization Estimate.


    • Explosive Devices Discovered at a Nuclear Plant in Sweden: Using bomb-sniffing dogs,security personnel at nuclear plant in Sweden discovered several civilian explosive devices hidden on a truck passing through a checkpoint on the way into the plant.


  • Colorado Wildfire: The worst wildfire in state history is currently raging in Colorado Springs. Over 32,000 people have been evacuated while hundreds of homes have burned down. Colorado Springs resident, Jason Epstein, discusses how the fire is affecting the city and local businesses.

Bryan has Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Georgia, College of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. He finished a Graduate Certificate in Disaster Management from the University of Georgia, Institute of Health Management and Mass Destruction Defense. He is Advanced Disaster Life Support certified (ADLS) by the AMA and has completed several FEMA certification training courses.
